Bayramlı, in the Erciş district of Van, is a village where the Armenian population settled and engaged in viticulture in the past. Thanks to Şahin İşler and his family, who have looked after this Erciş Karası vineyard, it was possible to make wine from these 55 year old vines that grow on their own roots, on sandy and clay soils, at an altitude of 1.770 meters, on the shore of Lake Van.
